FRONT 9 (White Tee's 2632 yards Par 34) 1st - 417 yards, Par 4, (SI 6)
The 1st tee is situated next to the Boundary fence forcing your Tee shot away from Hucknall Road to a tightened fairway, now that new trees have been planted down the right hand side Footpath (Right of Way) crosses fairway 130 yards from tee.
Boundary fence (Out of Bounds) on the right for full length of fairwayGrass bunkers, left and right 60 yards from green.Green side bunker on right and sharp run off on the left of the green.
2nd- 324 yards, Par 4, (SI 14)
An elevated tee which leads downhill into a small valley with undulating fairway which levels up at about the 140 yard mark.Trouble in the form of Gorse and Trees all along left side and trees seperating the 2nd and 3rd fairways most of right side.
Bunkers front left and front right. A small bank at back partially protects a run towards the footpath and then boundary (Out of Bounds). 3rd - 321 yards, Par 4, (SI 10)
Fairly straight fairway with trees on both sides and the only bunker (grass) is on the right. The fairway dips into the valley,you have a few options off the tee, leave the ball short to leave a fairly level shot across the dip or enter the valley and face an uphill approach to the green which has a slope off to the left.
Banking at back of green partially protects the run towards the deep drop and boundary fence at the rear of the green(deep trouble). |

4th - 276 yards, Par 4, (SI 16)
Limited view of fairway due to trees front right of tee at 40 yards. Boundary fence (Out of Bounds) on the right for full length of fairway.
Bunker on right 7 yards from green, green side bunker front left. Bunker full width of green at rear catches the over hit approach to green. 5th - 231 yards, Par 3, (SI 4)
First of the par 3's a fairly long hole which requires a straight shot, with dense trees on the left and trees on the right. Bunker short right on fairway.
Twin bunkers on left embrace all that come their way. 6th - 284 yards, Par 4, (SI 12)
Slightly elevated tee with improved view of fairway since trees and shrubs front right of tee have been removed. Bunkers short right and front right of green.
Difficult hollow left of green should be avoided. The green can be reached in one but beware as the green slopes away from you, all the way down towards the 7th tee. |
